Employability Skills Certificate

The Employability Skills Certificate (ESC) program is a special employability skills program available to high school students in self-contained special education classes.

The Employability Skills Certificate (ESC) program gives students an opportunity to specialize, gain qualifications, and plan a career pathway in various areas of the workplace sector while still in high school. The ESC program has a number of required components, designed to give students work-readiness skills, allowing them to pursue post-secondary opportunities in each of the identified sectors.

Students who are interested in exploring their options should speak to the head of the secondary self-contained program to determine their eligibility for the program.
