College Dual Credit

The School College Work Initiative (SCWI) is a partnership between school boards and colleges that allows senior secondary school students to simultaneously earn secondary school credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and a college diploma or Level 1 apprenticeship training. The programs run either in the secondary school or college setting and allow students to reach ahead into a potential future education in the apprenticeship or college pathways. Dual Credit programs are designed for students who face challenges in completing the requirements for graduation and show the potential to succeed in college. These students may also be in Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs or the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP). Our College Partners for Dual Credit Programs are Humber College, Mohawk College, Seneca College and Sheridan College. We are pursuing a new partnership with Conestoga College for 20/21.
